I named it Toon Tie in keeping with Ron’s website called Toonaday.com.
It fits in with a range of horse racing fashion designs I call ‘conversation starters.’ The idea being that sports in general bring people together from all walks of life, in an exciting and hedonistic environment and horse racing is one of the leading sports when it comes to combining gambling, drinking, celebrating for winners and the thrill of watching the horse or horses you bet on run around a race track and give you a big thrill when they come down the straight and thrash it out to the winning post.
It is called the ‘Sport of Kings’ which isn’t surprising because it incorporates so much anticipation, noise and excitement which also makes it a perfect place to meet new people and develop relationships where fashion stakes have everyone determined to look their best and stylish.
So cartoons are fun and make it easy to strike up a conversation and will continue to be a big part of other clothing designs moving forward into the future, with men’s and women’s clothing designs.
The colors on this tie also reflect what you see on most race courses on a fine day. Green grass, blue skies, some cloud, fences and horse and jockey both looking alert as they race towards the finish line.
